Microsoft broke records in its July 2026 Patch Tuesday by fixing around 570 vulnerabilities in a single release. Among them were zero-days already being actively exploited in the wild.
The two most notable zero-days are CVE-2026-56164 in SharePoint Server and CVE-2026-56155 (elevation of privilege) in Active Directory Federation Services. Both pose high risk to organizations using those services.
The incident highlights the importance of applying patches quickly and consistently. Qoprall Computer Solution recommends every organization maintain a routine, monitored patch-management process.
